BioBob, the whole point of the chart is to be simplified.
I don’t want to see a chart starting with “over 1 million insects.” My fridge, where I would hang this, is not that big and magnet not strong enough.
Embrace the simplification… man.
Oh, and I don’t care about how long cicadas live and where they fit on a timeline.

There are over 1 Million insect species.
Periodical cicadas can live longer than woodpeckers on the scale shown, while houseflies can complete a lifecycle in a month or two.
Simplification is fine - over-simplification leads to error….
